RAIV offers community-based Circles of Support and Accountability to people who are not in crisis and are seeking a path forward from experiences with intimate partner violence to discover a healing passage toward healthier relationships.

Please know: We are volunteers with diverse backgrounds, trained in restorative practices and principles of the RAIV Circle process. We do not provide counseling/therapy or any sort of mental health services or crisis intervention, nor are we a suicide prevention or domestic violence helpline.
Our mission is to support victims/survivors of domestic violence, the people responsible for the harm caused by such intimate violence, as well as the friends and family members impacted, as they seek to heal the trauma and suffering caused by domestic violence. People affected by this kind of harm rarely heal from the impact of intimate violence through the criminal legal system response. RAIV helps fill the gap by providing restorative, community-based Circles.
RAIV fosters a person's healing in community with a committed small group (Circle) of trained volunteers who listen, reflect and support through conversation and creativity. Discover our unique approach to addressing intimate violence through restorative practices. The Circles flow with the needs of the person at the center, the Core Member. We work together co-creating each step forward with the philosophy of "power with" rather than "power over".
RAIV Circle members believe in the innate wisdom of each human to identify their needs. We also believe that with support from people who care and are willing to journey with them through a transformational process, individuals can meet those needs in a healthy way.
