Tom Thorpe

Tom Thorpe has been a Circle Keeper since Dec 2022. Tom worked as a computer programmer and IT architect for 35 years for the US Army, the Boulder County Assessor and IBM. In 2014 he trained and volunteered as a Restorative Justice Facilitator with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and was recognized as one of Boulder County’s Volunteers during the 2023 National Volunteer Week Spotlight. Tom has studied, taught and led Nonviolent Communication (NVC) practice groups. He also volunteered with the Birds of Prey Rehab Foundation in the flight cages helping birds regain their strength before being released back into nature. Tom enjoys camping and hiking with his dogs Izzy and Bullet.
